Not long ago, Ms. Hanyang Feng mentioned That Shen Qin and Shen Liyi were planning to hold a double solo exhibition. I think the two artists appeared together, and it can be imagined that the effect is certainly good. I have a good understanding of Ershen. Their works have their own unique forms, but their aesthetic tastes are consistent -- something I have talked about in previous articles.

Not long ago, Ms. Hanyang Feng mentioned That Shen Qin and Shen Liyi were planning to hold a double solo exhibition. I think the two artists appeared together, and it can be imagined that the effect is certainly good. Most of the time, people like to post "Oriental aesthetics" as a label. What is called "Oriental aesthetics", each has its own understanding, the difference is very big. In fact, the concept is not important. It doesn't even matter if it's "Oriental aesthetics." What's important? In a work of art, quality is undoubtedly the most important. To measure the quality of the work, I have summarized three requirements: uniqueness, difficulty and completeness. If the artist does well in these three areas, the quality of the work will naturally be there. Of course, if the artist does well in these three aspects, but also can reflect some local traditional artistic spirit, inheritance of some of our own good ways of expression, so much the better.

The quality of ershen's works is obvious to all. The key point is that they did the same thing at the same time. They did not follow the trend of western modern and contemporary art, nor did they crawl to be lazy under the conceit of local tradition. Their work carries a distinct contemporary stamp. They do not deliberately adhere to any ready-made template in the treatment of ideas, materials and expressions, etc., but stubbornly stick to their own path, which is the lack of many contemporaries. I believe they will go better and better, let's look forward to it together.
